My mum and I come to Aqua-Tox 3 times a week to use all the recovery treatments. Such as cryotherapy, light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen chamber, normatec leg compression boots and infrared sauna. Based on my experience at Aqua-tox clinic's Infrared Sauna this morning, I must say that the infrared sauna was not functioning correctly, as it should provide consistent, penetrating heat throughout the session rather than just in the final minutes.
Infrared saunas require 15–20 minutes to properly preheat. I arrived at their door but the shutters weren't open. Once I came out of my car they opened their shutters. I must say that the clinic had poor management and least communication with me. They shouldn't have booked me for 9:45am while their staff don't start before that hour. I entered a cold room and it took me well over 20 minutes to get comfortable.

The buzzing loud noise in the room was also annoying and it could be a sign of a poor potential mechanical or electrical issue.

Paid cash £50 towards 30 minutes cold room. I suppose it was going to be hot for the next person. Show less »

What a fabulous Wellness Centre - so many fantastic treatments to choose from . My first experience in the hyperbolic chamber was so amazing last Tuesday that I rebooked another right away for today. I visited Aqua-Tox Wellness Clinic today and had a colonic performed by one of Natalie’s students. Natalie was present throughout the entire session, which was very reassuring.
The student, Star, was thorough, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable, something that is incredibly important during this type of treatment. She clearly explained each step of the process, what to expect, and consistently checked in to ensure I was feeling at ease.

I did the package of 5 cryo chamber and hypobaric chamber sessions after having ACL surgery. I genuinely believe these sessions have helped in my recovery. They have reduced the inflammation and pain considerably. I was treated with so much care and attention by all the staff. I can't fault AquaTox and their staff at all. Highly recommended.

I do not recommend this place for laser hair removal. My practitioners were nice pleasant people in their interpersonal professionalism and warmth. That is the only positive thing I can say about my experience of this company. I had a course of around 8 (cannot remember) laser hair removal treatments on legs, hollywood, lower arms and nipples and I never took significant gaps between treatments. Extremely minimal improvement was made after this course of treatments. Basically no difference. When the course of treatment was over, I visited a very high-end leading laser hair removal place and was refused treatment due to my colouring. I am quite "celtic" with pale skin and dark blonde/auburn hair (on my head) but the hair in the areas treated appears to be darker brown. I was confused when this other clinic told me I was untreatable because I was under the impression that pale skin + dark body hair = good result. However, apparently, due to having auburn head-hair, although my body hair appears dark, the roots are paler - more like the hair on my head, and for this reason, my body hair will not respond to treatment. This other place refused to go ahead with treatment because they felt they would be cheating me / stealing from me, and said that waxing was my only option. I now feel that I have been cheated/led on by Aquatox and wish to warn others about my experience. Aquatox should have understood the science better and not gone ahead with my treatment. Show less »

Aqua-tox was recommended by my physio after being diagnosed with arthritis all in my spine unable to walk nearly 7 weeks ago and Horrendous Spasms in my back. After treatment of the cryotherapy chamber one to 2 times a week has made a massive improvement on the inflammation, body movement and mental state. Second month in and now on my bike daily and standing straight. Yes it’s cold but you feel absolutely amazing after your session. The ladies are so welcoming, knowledgable and make you feel so relaxed.
Highly recommend for those who struggle with stiffness and back issues for sure!! Show less »

What a great wellness and recovery clinic. Everyone was friendly, professional and walked us through every step of the way. I did the hyperbaric chamber, red light therapy, cryotherapy and the infrared sauna. Truly helpful with my anterior cervical discectomy and fusion.
