⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally a clinic that treats you like a human being

I had a laser hair removal consultation at The Skin Clinic on Friday 20 February and was seen by Sue.

From the moment I walked in, Sue was kind, friendly, genuine, and incredibly reassuring. I explained that I have keloid scars on my shoulders and back and that I’ve previously been turned away by other clinics because of this. Sue immediately put me at ease and clearly explained that my keloid scars would not be a problem and that I could still safely have laser hair removal.

Honestly, it was a breath of fresh air after being refused elsewhere.

The consultation was thorough, respectful, and professional, and I felt comfortable the entire time. I was smiling throughout and left with a huge sense of relief that I had finally found a clinic that doesn’t automatically exclude people with keloid scars, but instead focuses on helping them safely and realistically.

I ended up purchasing six laser sessions along with aftercare treatment, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

Sue was absolutely phenomenal and is a real credit to the clinic. If you have keloid scars and have been made to feel unwelcome or dismissed elsewhere, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was such a positive, affirming experience. Show less »

Gaslit me , lied to me about 90% reduction in hair removal , failed to state that lazer dosent work well at all on hormonal hair and made my PCOS hair worse. Rushed sessions , told me I had to carry on with treatment when I said I wanted to switch to electrolysis.... I said this as I could tell the lazer wasn't helping over time . Sue and Roshan always make me feel so welcome they are truly the loveliest women. I’ve been coming to them for a few months now and always leave feeling cared for. I’m also extremely happy with how my treatments are progressing, I get chemical peels and occasional micro needling to help my acne scars. Sue brings her experience as a registered nurse into ever... I had Such an amazing facial! The ladies were absolutely lovely, so knowledgeable, and made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. My skin feels incredible. Highly recommend I’ll definitely be returning!

Excellent,went in today for a patch test for laser hair removal,lovely clean place was guided through the process and treatment.Sue was brilliant, such a great professional and so friendly,made me feel so relaxed Iam now booked in for 6 sessions,thankyou again Sue ,I would highly recommend anybody to come here 👌

Following treatment for thread vein removal on my face I had my first microdermabration. The therapist talked me through the procedure (as it was my first time). I have had laser done by Sue, I can’t compliment her service enough, she takes her time and does a thorough job, unlike others who rush and don’t cover all areas during laser sessions. I would 100% recommend SUE as the results you get from your treatment massively depends on the specialist.

I had a fantastic experience at skin clinic Ashton. My treatment was done by Roshan. She is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. My treatment is expertly administered, and I saw noticeable results. It is a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend the treatment with Roshan.

It was my first time attending the clinic and it is very pleasing to the eye and clean. You’re greeted with a smile and treated with dignity. It was my first time getting this type of facial and Roshan is brilliant. She talked me through every step and ensured I was okay. Special mention to Suad as well! Will definitely be back soon!

I had a 4pm appointment scheduled at "The Skin Clinic Ashton" on Sunday, and I cannot stress enough how appallingly unprofessional this experience was. Despite arriving *exactly* on time, the clinic was closed, and no one was present to let me in. When I called the receptionist, I was told—without apology—to wait outside in the cold because the practitioner was "still working." Let me be clear: I was left shivering outside like an afterthought, despite having booked my slot in advance.

In what world is it acceptable to force a paying client to wait outdoors in freezing conditions? Every other clinic I’ve visited allows patients to wait *indoors* if there are delays—it’s basic courtesy. Here, it seems basic decency is optional. The receptionist’s dismissive attitude only added insult to injury, as if inconveniencing clients is standard practice.

This clinic clearly has zero respect for clients’ time, comfort, or dignity. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place at all costs. There are far better clinics that value their customers and uphold basic professionalism.
