Having had some dental work done over the past year, I also proceeded with a course of invisalign which I've just completed.

Thank you to Dr Claire Simpson for making all of the treatments stress free. I am very pleased with the results.

Unfortunately I am a nervy patient and some other medical treatment has meant I need more frequent appointments to the dentist.
Laura has been fantastic in explaining, taking her time being patient and calm with me. I count myself lucky to be able to have her consistently when I visit which also eases my anxiety. She is a great asset to the Maltings.

If I could give a 100 stars I would. I wasn't scared or anxious of the dentist, I was petrified due to bad experiences as a child with a school dentist. Enter Dr Laura Hunter-Shaw and her dental assistant Julia. A magical team indeed. They did their best and succeeded to put me at ease, did not pressure me and more importantly they did not judge. Today at my appointment I sat in the dreaded chair with no qualms at all. That was down to those two wonderful ladies.

I had the best experience with Claire and Stacey for my most recent treatment plan. They were professional, kind and made me feel at ease. The results are amazing. I am very happy.
The whole process at the practice was smooth from booking appointments to being in the surgery for my treatment.

One of the great joys of the Maltings Dental Practice is from reception to Dentist is that not only are they very professional but also very service orientated. Very lucky to be attended to by dental surgeon Mrs Simpson recently and not surprised she is always busy.

The Maltings is a friendly welcoming place.
The staff are always welcoming, always try to accommodate any requests for appointments and my own treatment has always been to an excellent standard by Jason Wong.
Would certainly recommend this dentist practice for anyone.

I am not a huge fan of the dentist and struggle particularly with injections. I visited Farah Khan for the first time as an emergency appointment due to a filling coming out. Both Farah and the dental nurse were hugely reassuring and explained everything clearly. Thank you both 🙂

Today I had a troublesome root taken out after the main tooth broke. Mr Butcher and the lady dental assistant were superb. The gentleman explained everything and the care and attention was brilliant. Once the anaesthetic kicked in I felt nothing. The procedure was quick. They were knowledgeable and caring. It made for a pleasurable stress free experience.

Laura did my extraction and it the most painfree extraction I have had. She really put my mind at rest and we even had a good laugh.
If you are nervous about going to dentist, I highly recommend going to see Laura.

I have always been anxious about visiting dentists as I suffered very poor treatment as a young child. I was referred to this dental practice by my own Dentist in Newark. I needed to have a Wisdom Tooth removed. From the moment I walked into the practice the young ladies behind the desk made me feel welcome and at ease. I was taken by a lovely young Dental Nurse for an Xray, she who was comforting, supportive and talking to me the whole time. I was then taken to see the Oral Surgeon Mrs Marta Bugowska – Clarke and her dental team. They were all very friendly, professional, kind and caring. I could not have had better treatment, being talked to all the way explaining what was to happen next. I would like to give all the staff a gold medal for their reassuring and friendly manner.

I’ve undergone 30+ weeks of careful Invisilign treatment by Dr Sean Walmsley. The care and attention to detail with Hannah the dental assistant has been incredible. Together they make a brilliant team. I’ve had procedures also and have never felt so calm and confident whilst sat in the dental chair. Cannot recommend this team of two enough. My teeth are repa... My daughter had to have her wisdom tooth taken out today here. They get a 5 star from us. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and so understanding of my daughter with her special needs and anxiety. Every phone call we had made us feel at ease. My Dentist is Dr Farah Khan and by far she is the best dentist I’ve ever had. I’m currently going through a treatment plan with her and she takes the time and explains clearly why certain treatments need to be done and has offered advice throughout. I came today for a root extraction. The dentist and dental nurse were amazing and would highly recommended. Dr Anas Nashawi was fantastic!

Very supportive and thorough!

Thank you for such a great experience today, no one enjoys a visit to the dentist but you’ve definitely put more confidence in me!

Can't speak more highly of Laura and the team at Maltings. My young son needed 2 teeth out due to shark teeth and those baby teeth were not coming out on their own accord!. He was particularly scared about the procedure, but Laura looked after him really well, reassured him throughout and kept him calm. Recovery after was quick with no effects. Thank you ver...
