I have just had my first laser session with Harjot. For someone that has suffered with hormonal hair growth on my face in particular I was super sceptical about taking the laser plunge. I had a hydration facial at The Glo Bar with Harjot and she was excellent. I had originally booked another treatment as well, but Harjot took the time to assess my skin and honestly told me I didn’t need it. That really showed her genuine commitment to my skin’s health rather than just trying to upsell, which I really appreciated. She gave me personalised skincare recommendations without any pressure to buy products. The salon is conveniently located on the high street and is extremely clean, calming, and relaxing. I did my first session of radio frequency microneedling with harjot and my skin already feels so tight and glowing. I have booked a package at such a good rate. I'm so pleased. Definitely recommend the glo bar

Went in for a lash lift and tint but could barely see any difference. Money down the drain. Maybe their other services are better, but I wouldn’t recommend the lash lift and tint to anyone.

I walked in yesterday and was greeted by a very sweet lady. Initially stepping in to see what was available and what treatments might help a friend out. I ended up getting my eyebrows threaded which I am always so specific about. The lady understood what I liked straight away without much explanation and did them so well. Thank you so much!

Kiran was amazing and done a superb job with my first lash lift. I’m looking forward to working with her for other services. I couldn’t recommend her more! She’s super professional and makes sure you’re ok throughout the time you’re in her hands! Highly recommend!

I had a hydra facial and a head and back massage at the glo bar. This was my first visit and I was very happy. My skin feels so clean and cleared all my blackheads. I was so relaxed after my massage that I have now booked in for another one next week.

Late post - but I attended their 1 yr celebration event which was advertised on eventbrite. I haven’t done the services there so I can’t comment but the overall atmosphere when entering was not warm and welcoming- more like people staring at you - as it’s a small venue it’s more uncomfortable. There was food by the window - maybe it was for display purposes only? Nobody said hey help yourself to some food or here have a drink? I wouldn’t have even if they did as there was 6 people standing in a line just watching - awkward vibe. The event mentioned free goody bag and complimentary skin care analysis - none of this was mentioned! I couldn’t wait to get out of there. This event alone has deterred me from going for a service. I visited this beauty salon last week for a simple facial to clean my skin. The salon looks nice when you walk in, but the person who worked on me didn’t introduce herself or explain what brand of products she was using. The room I was in was very small and undecorated very plain. I think more attention to the room's atmosphere could have made it more pleasant.
Unfortunately, after a week, I noticed that the strong pressure she used to extract blackheads left a dark mark on my nose. I waited a week before writing this because I hoped it would fade, but it hasn't. Sadly, because of this experience, I won’t be returning to this salon. Show less »
