I booked a treatment for July 2026, and my booking was accepted by Jacqui. She then messaged to tell me the offer was for December only. However, due to being on Roaccutane, I cannot have treatment until six months later. When I tried to cancel, I was told my deposit was “non-refundable.”
This is incorrect. As this was an online booking, it is legally classed as a distance contract, meaning I am legally allowed to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. A business cannot enforce a “non-refundable” deposit in a way that overrides these statutory rights.
I would stay far away from this company. They have no customer service, are ignoring my messages, and clearly think they are above the law. Show less »
