I visited your gym this morning with my 14-year-old son after completing the online form for a day session, with the intention of becoming members. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
Despite the website stating that young people aged 14+ can use the gym, my son was refused entry because he isn’t 18. We weren’t even offered the chance to have a tour of the facilities. we were simply turned away by the two staff members on reception.
I don’t understand how you can expect a 14-year-old to consider membership without being given the opportunity to at least see what the gym offers. This felt like a missed opportunity both for us and for your gym, as you may have lost not just one but two potential members.
We will now be looking at alternative options, but I wanted to share this feedback so you’re aware of how discouraging the experience was. Show less »

I am a returning customer to Dallington, why i returned is that for the price it is by far the nicest gym with great facilities, however, since my return, the newer clientele do not respect the rules in the changing rooms, sauna and showers. I go to the gym to get fit and then relax with a shower and sauna afterwards, but now it is impossible to relax. The e... Show more »

I am a returning customer to Dallington, why i returned is that for the price it is by far the nicest gym with great facilities, however, since my return, the newer clientele do not respect the rules in the changing rooms, sauna and showers. I go to the gym to get fit and then relax with a shower and sauna afterwards, but now it is impossible to relax. The ettiquette in the ladies showers and sauna has been replaced by loud talking when members are in completely different showers, they shave in the showers, hack up their phlegm and spit in the showers, and lay down and sleep in the sauna. It is an unspoken custom that sauna area is a quiet place to relax, but it is now stressful, and unhygienic. I wish the staff would address this as it must have been mentioned to them before. When to this gym as I have only just moved into the area and wanted to get a feel of how the gyms in the area were. As someone who has never found a gym that suits my needs finding Dallington Fitness has improved my fitness journey completely! At first, going into the gym was quite scary as it is the largest gym I have ever been to! As someone who has never found a gym that suits my needs finding Dallington Fitness has improved my fitness journey completely!

At first, going into the gym was quite scary as it is the largest gym I have ever been to! Despite my worries, I was given a tour of the facilities and a really helpful induction to show me how to use the equipment.

There is a ladies only gym which I really appreciate, not many gyms have one of these, so for days where I don't feel like going into the main gym I can easily complete my workouts in there.

One of my favourite things about the gym is the classes, you never feel like the newbie and everyone is always super friendly and chatty. Plus they're included in the membership, something which was definitely a reason to try them out.

I couldn't recommend Dallington Fitness more! It's affordable, offers so many free classes, has a sauna and steam room (in both the male and female changing rooms), boxing and spin studios and most importantly the staff and members are really friendly, kind and helpful. If you're thinking about joining, just do it!! Show less »
