I am a 56 year old female and in March this year I was diagnosed with estrogen receptor positive breast cancer. The lump was removed and it was thankfully found not to have spread to my lymph so all that followed was 5 sessions of radiotherapy and I have to take a low dose of tamoxifen (a hormone blocker) for the next five years.

Because of the hormone element of my breast cancer I had to stop my HRT immediately and very quickly I found myself aching, stiff and generally creaky with a noticeable decline in my energy levels. I had also been taking NAD+ for a couple of months prior to diagnosis and had really enjoyed the impact this was having on me. Because there is a risk that NAD+ can exacerbate any pre-existing cancer in the body I had to stop taking this as well. The future was looking a little gloomy at this point!!

I could not have been more delighted to have discovered Dr Ethan at this time. I was very keen to explore how I might be able to access peptides to combat the effects of stopping HRT but needed to find someone to oversee this who fully understood the impact that they might have on my health given my recent breast cancer.
