Unfortunately, I have to give 1 star, but the correct rating would be zero. I paid for treatment to reduce cellulite on my legs and buttocks. I was attended to by 3 different people across all my sessions. Based on my weight and height, 6 sessions were recommended to resolve my complaint. After 4 sessions, I saw no results whatsoever, so I questioned the person who seemed to be primarily responsible, and she said she didn't know when I would see results. How can a dermatologist (who I'm not even sure if she really is one) not know when results will be expected? I had paid a £100 deposit for another treatment: stretch mark reduction. But since I saw no results after 6 sessions and due to the lack of knowledge of the clinic staff, I felt it would be a waste of money. So, at the last session, I informed them that I didn't want the stretch mark treatment, I wanted my refund, and the photos they took at each session. I was told they couldn't show me the photos at that moment, that I would have to wait until Monday (I thought: why? Do they want to Photoshop the photos?). Prabhjot told me that there was no way to return my deposit via the card machine, but they would transfer it to me on Monday. (My last session was on Sunday). I believed them. But it was extremely difficult to receive the refund. They tried everything to keep my money. They even lied, saying they wouldn't refund me beforehand. Knowing my rights, I informed them that I would take legal action if necessary. Attached are some of the conversations I had regarding receiving the deposit. As for the photos, since they are intimate areas, I won't post them here. But there's a lot of Photoshop. The difference in lighting is drastic. And they only sent me photos from 2 days, even though I had 6 sessions. Since I'm not an idiot, I always took photos at home before each session. That's how I proved that there were no results whatsoever in those months. I just threw my money away. Furthermore, on two occasions when I went to the clinic, they were having lunch, and the kitchen is located in the hallway leading to the room where I received my treatment; it smelled of reheated food. If you want to waste your money, get angry, and receive poor service, I recommend this clinic. Show less »

This was my second visit to Shapins and again had a wonderful experience. My therapist was Priya who was very professional yet friendly and made me feel really comfortable and at ease. This was my second visit to Shapins and again had a wonderful experience. My therapist was Priya who was very professional yet friendly and made me feel really comfortable and at ease. My first treatment was a HIFU procedure a few weeks ago which left my skin looking and feeling tighter and plump, I am really chuffed with the result and will try and have it yearly. Today I have a Hydrafacial treatment which was 1.5 hours relaxing procedure which made my skin looking super hydrated and tight. Couldn't be happier with the result, looking forward to my next visit. I initially booked my laser hair removal session at Shapins Clinic Farnham through Groupon, and to be honest, I was a bit confused at first — especially since I’m based in Reading and the clinic is in Farnham. But I’m so glad I went ahead with it!

The medical practitioner Jayapriya was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, professional, and incredibly patient in answering all my questions and concerns. She clearly knows what she’s doing and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process.

Her professional attitude and genuine care really stood out to me — so much so that I have already referred my sister to the clinic, and I will definitely be recommending it to my friends as well.

I booked for eyebrow tattoo removal, only to lighten my already faded semi-permanent tattoos. One brow looked slightly darker than the other, which was hardly noticeable, but bothered me. I knew I only needed one session, as I wasn’t looking for a complete removal.
The whole experience was exhausting, and the result is worse, the difference is so obvious I look like an emoji with one brow up.
Here is the problem, this place has the idea of groupon completely wrong, they think it is a bait to lure people in and sell them something like a bazaar. Instead of using the opportunity to create trust and customer satisfaction to ensure returns, they want immediate benefit.
Despite calling them to explain my expectations before purchasing a session on groupon and travelling a long distance for a patch test, the staff held me to an exhausting argument to avoid doing the patch test explaining to me over and over 100 times ‘how I needed more than one session’. After an exhausting 40 min debate and even calling her manager she finally did the patch test. The area she touched for the patch test was cleared of the tattoo, which was nice to see. Unfortunately though in the actual session whatever she did clearly wasn’t even on both brows ( in fact I could feel that it wasn’t even and told her during the session ) , one brow is MUCH darker than the other, forcing me to book another session.

Jayapriya is the best therapist I have had treatments with for Laser Hair removal. I travel to South Africa often where they are pioneers of this treatment but no one does it as thorough as Jayapriya. She takes care over her treatments and is professional at all times. Very disappointing customer service over the phone. I called this clinic to book a facial and had a detailed conversation about the treatment I wanted. I was told there were two appointments available on the same day, so I booked and paid a deposit. Shortly after, I received a call saying they were already fully booked and would not be able to honor my booking, despite taking my deposit.

There was no accountability— I was simply told that the person I spoke to earlier “might have made a mistake because she’s new.” The lady I spoke to was very rude, which made the experience even worse. I was told that calls are recorded, so the poor service can easily be verified. Show less »
