Very poor professionalism, I tried to make contact to make an appointment over a number of days and got no answer. I phoned the number on the website, and left my number, over two days. I walked in the building, I used the online form and I used the mobile, all to no avail.
on the Saturday,I walked in at the building, and there was no receptionist. Another therapist, who was working with a client, kindly interrupted her work to attend to me, though not looking best pleased, and who can blame her. Since they don't work on Mondays, I made my request online, and again left my number by phone. On The following Tuesday, ( now day 6) there'd still been no answer, so I phoned the mobile, and got a harrassed sounding individual, who kept getting my name wrong despite me correcting her each time. She didn't have the days I asked for, and gave a date she was free. I said give me a minute to check, but she rushed me off the phone telling me to just text. I did, within minutes. She answered shortly after that she was fully booked, so I gave up, as you would, and texted back her no thanks. She then said "oh but I do get booked up very quickly" as in minutes? when someone said they'd get straight back and did so? No, this is not professional, and certainly does not bode well that the practitioner is capable of giving a considered relaxing experience. Show less »

I absolutely love Sanctuary house, I’ve been going now for about 7 years. Julia’s massage and reflexology treatments are so relaxing. The serene surroundings let you melt away and switch your brain off for an hour.

I decided to try something different recently and booked in for a facial. Rachael’s gentle massage techniques left me feeling refreshed and relaxed - she also gave me a couple of samples to take away. I’ll definitely be back! Show less »

Sanctuary House is a fantastic salon. Have previously had eyebrows, pedicures, hairdressing and manicures when I lived in North Shields and even now I moved back to Gateshead, I still drive through the Tunnel for Christine to do my nails and what an amazing job she does. Sanctuary House is a fantastic salon. Have previously had eyebrows, pedicures, hairdressing and manicures when I lived in North Shields and even now I moved back to Gateshead, I still drive through the Tunnel for Christine to do my nails and what an amazing job she does. Can't rate higher than 5, but definitely would. Amazing and would and do recommend Sanctuary House to everyone. Even to the girls on the tills in Tesco when they have commented on my nails.
