Very thorough care, expertise and hygiene guidance. I have gone on to the twice yearly hygiene/dental contract (paying monthly) somewhat reluctantly (from NHS) but the care, I must say, is impressive and I'm grateful to the team. It doesn't stop me being really concerned that dentistry is no longer accessible without considerable financial commitment - but this is a political issue and no fault of the practice which has to survive! Show less »

I was referred by my dentist to Oakwood Dental Practice and Dr Barbi last April to see if I was suitable for Dental Implants for missing teeth. I have been on quite a journey with them over the last few months and everyone I have met at the practice has been exceptional. Oakwood Dental Practice carried out scans and working together with Dr Parker from Primley Park Dental to assess suitability I had bone grafts and implants last July . At every stage Oakwood Dental were on hand to offer advice, reassurance and see me if needed and everyone I came into contact with was so professional. I have finally had my crowns fitted and am over the moon with the results as they look so natural.
They have given me my smile back and my confidence and I cannot thank them enough. Show less »

Fabiha is very professional. I had my 6 monthly check up and hygiene appointment today. She explained everthing clearly and gave me good advice.

Highly recommend, fantastic service from thr minute you walk in.. Was last minute but as needed seeing asap, they managed to get me and then on top that provide outstanding service. The environment is warm and welcoming, all staff had a smile and supportive. I felt listened to and my mind put at ease. Treatment was straight forward and made very comfortable.... Show more »

Staff are charming and efficient. Diagnoses were transmitted clearly and knowledgeably. I know nothing is cheap, but the price was a shock.

I had an injury many years ago that resulted in me needed crowns and veneers on my front two teeth and one at the side. I had my first restorative work done by the nhs but after ten years they needed redoing as one had cracked. I was never happy with them, my front teeth were not matching and I felt self conscious. I went to see Barbie for my teeth to be redone. It was the best decision and money well spent.
My new teeth feel so natural and blend perfectly with my other teeth. I am no longer self conscious to smile. Barbie will do her best to make sure you are happy. Definitely would recommend for crowns and veneers. Show less »

Having not had a filling in years the process was incredible!! So pain-free with organised isolation around my tooth with a structure that kept my mouth open and tongue out of the way ( fascinating), an injection that i didnt even feel and the after effects of it were minimal- no numbness/ dribbling or feeling like my mouth didnt belong! I had a bit of an emergency when a natural bridge came loose and I managed to get an appointment a couple of hours after I asked one. Dr O’Connor was very helpful and managed to fix it quickly. I am very grateful. The receptionist was also very helpful when I went to ask for the appointment.

I have always had a fear of dentists - luckily I am very fortunate that my fears are eased at Oakwood. My dentist Barbie is amazing, she is incredibly kind and considerate.
