My mother, on her well-earned day off, drove over an hour for an appointment she had booked. When she arrived, the place was completely shut. No note on the door. No message or heads-up for 10 whole days. She tried to call, but the phone didn’t even ring.
During that entire period, Lorena didn’t post a single update on Instagram—no story, no image, nothing to indicate an emergency or explain her disappearance. Not then, and not now. But what Lorena did do was leave my mother completely in the dark, distressed and worried enough about Lorena’s well-being to reach out and ask if everything was alright.
Instead of receiving an apology or even a basic explanation, my mother was met with a tirade of unfounded accusations and abusive messages from Lorena. And as if that wasn’t enough, Lorena then blocked my mother on everything (calls, messages, social media) cutting off all means of communication. My mother was left high and dry, without a shred of professionalism, basic courtesy, or even common decency.
Isn’t it natural to try to contact someone if they miss an appointment without warning? Wouldn’t you try calling, sending a DM, or even leaving a single comment asking if anyone knew anything? Because the alternative is assuming the worst.
Maybe Lorena attempted to send a message to her clients, but if so, it never reached my mother. And it’s on Lorena to ensure her clients are informed, not to lash out at them when her own communication fails.
This was not just unprofessional. It was cruel. Lorena’s response to genuine concern and confusion was anger, abuse, and ultimately, cowardice—hiding behind blocks instead of offering even a shred of accountability. It’s a sad reminder of how little she values her clients’ time, effort, and basic decency. Images are attached so you can make your own decision.
