Shame there's no less than one star or else it would've been a minus 10 star. A male called Usman is rude and arrogant. Had an appointment booked weeks in advance for prom makeup and hair, was told by him there'd be three members of staff (two for the hair and one make up artist), a female nurse (Caroline) who's independent from this clinic, was there too, she was so lovely and also confirmed there'd be few staff on the day and they will look after my daughter. When we turned up on the day, to only see one inarticulate female, with no communication skills, it was very difficult to understand her. It took her nearly five hours to burn and damage my daughters hair with a broken curler, tangling her hair in the machine too, ripping the hair out. The makeup products used dried her skin out with harsh and out of date chemicals. Only the uneducated people will sadly be unaware of this scam place. So please everyone save yourself from this hostile beauty clinic. The lady at the end apologised and admitted herself she was unqualified and had no experience at all in hair and makeup and she was covering for 'absences' as her 'sir usman' instructed. She seemed very frightened of usmin when we complained about the service received, he slammed the door on her face and said charge them £60.00. The person running this loonatic place needs to be reviewed by dispatches. High concerns for the public. Avoid at all costs. Show less »

Im writing this 6 months late because it still plays on my mind. I got a gel nail treatment on my hands and feet in May. We chose the colour, and once it was finished, it was a matte finish. I got a gel nail treatment on my hands and feet in May. We chose the colour, and once it was finished, it was a matte finish. I hadnt asked for this and said this wasnt what i wanted.
The nail tech then told me that matte was standard (it is not) and if id wanted it with a shiny finish i should have asked. She then said they had ran out of gel topcoat so matte was all they had. This was untrue as they had used a different gel topcoat on my toes which came out shiny and as id wanted.

Another topcoat was then tried on top (this was experimental and i agreed to it), which resulted in some sort of chemical reaction leading to bubbling a of the varnish. When i said, please just remove this i’ll get them done elsewhere, i was told ‘they look fine from a distance’ !!

Eventually this was rectified when the manager got involved. I don't mind the mistake so much, but feel i was lied to throughout. I wouldn’t recommend getting your nails done here. Show less »

visited here for fungal toe nail laser.?and had HIFU facial . the best clinic experience well worth the price Dr usman did my treatments he is very professional and very knowledgeable , clinic is well managed nice and clean. my skin felt amazing after facial will definitely recommend everyone to visit this place . i can’t wait for next visit for my treatment... Horrible, traumatising experience. Beware of this place.

I booked in for laser hair removal on my legs and a "hollywood", which is essentially the intimate area. Upon arrival was told the woman who normally does laser wasn't working, so the man in a suit (seemed like the manager) who greeted me at reception would be doing my leg area, and then a woman would finish the treatment.

I was uncomfortable but agreed, thinking they are professionals and it must be safe. However, the man ended up doing the entire treatment while a random woman just walked in halfway through and watched. I froze and didn't say anything. Not even sure if what happened was legal. Beyond sketchy and just a horrid experience that I want to forget.

Ladies, please be careful booking any treatments at places you've never been before to avoid anything like what happened to me. Show less »

They say first impression is last impression, trust me lux laser and beauty clinic is a perfact example of that. The practice has recently started hair growth treatment which was of some interest to me. On my first visit i was explained the process of hair growth treatment together with the cost. This was within my reach and i decided to go ahead. I am very much looking forward to the results as explained in few months time. All in all it was a wonderful experience and i have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the practice to anyone. Show less »

Found the deal on voucher for a haircut and Blow-dry how this lady is allowed to go near anyone’s hair is beyond me avoid at all costs . Explaining what I wanted a bob haircut is not what I got she has absolutely no idea now I have to pay to try and salvage the mess she has created 😡☹️ lesson learnt.i would ask to see certificates if you are thinking of usi... I had the "gel manicure" done here today (see pic of what I wanted vs what I got) and I've got to say there are many places that do A LOT better for cheaper. My previous gel was not properly removed and the actual "manicure" part itself consisted of a brief exfoliation of my hands and slathering my hands in cream and plastic gloves before leaving me sat in the chair for ages whilst the lady did something else. The cuticle work (the most vital part of any manicure if you ask nail techs!!) was minimal, basically she pushed them back a bit. The finish isn't at all professional and the whole process was not in any way relaxing, especially considering the lady I had couldn't understand me properly and the staff were all speaking in another language, clearly about me as they kept looking my way and laughing. The lady who did my nails also kept commenting on the size of my body which made me extremely uncomfortable. I haven't a problem with the staff themselves; they all seemed lovely but their professionalism (both interpersonal and with their work) was questionable to say the least. I can't speak for any of the other services offered here, but I would recommend going elsewhere for any sort of nail work. I would appreciate a reply from the owners as I would like at least a partial refund because the finish I got is not at all what I asked for or indeed what was offered.
EDIT: 4 days later and they've already started peeling!! I had my previous gels I got somewhere else on for three weeks and only had them taken off because they'd grown out; they hadn't peeled or chipped.
