I had a wonderful experience with Zoe. She was warm, friendly, and immediately made me feel welcome. Before starting, she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, asking thoughtful questions, showing me additional photos, and checking that I was comfortable with the length before making any cuts.

What truly stood out was how involved she kept me throughout the process, explaining her approach and making sure I was happy at every step. Unlike past visits where hairdressers seemed to follow their own vision, Zoe genuinely listened and delivered the style I had always hoped for. I visited the salon today for a colour and cut after spending years trying to do it myself! Phoebe and Zoe were very professional and made my visit worthwhile by transforming my look. They are both a credit to the owner of the salon, I highly recommend.

Only my first visit to this lovely salon and I gave Zoe the challenge to sort out an uneven cut and wrong style from another salon. I was impressed that she took time to listen to my requests and advise the best way forward. Zoe is competent at cutting curly hair and I felt very satisfied that she has already massively improved my haircut.

My first visit what a lovely lady Zoe she took time to ask me what colour would be good for my hair and she gave me a nice cut and style.
I will be coming back already booked my next appointment with Zoe.

The staff there are all lovely.

Had my first visit to Golbylocks last week and am so happy with my hair! I was going from a bleached Blonde back to my natural colour which is darker. Zoe was lovely and really helpful - I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she recommended a different process to what I’d booked in for, explained it all to me and told me the new cost it would be and then gave me the option of whether I’d like to go with that instead - I decided to go with what she recommended and so glad I did! She was really thorough, consulted me throughout the entire process on what I’d like for my cut, layers, fringe ect. Everyone was really friendly, the lovely lady on reception offered me a cup of tea. The whole process was really great and highly recommend the salon! We had the best experience with Zoe today. She was incredible with my daughter, making her feel relaxed and special during her haircut. She handled her curly hair with expertise and care and gave us advice on how to look after it My daughter hasn't stopped smiling about her new hair! Thank you, Zoe for such a positive experience!

Zoe cut Bethan's hair beautifully! She now has the cutest little bob with a fringe. I really appreciated being able to sit with her, and the advice given about her fringe! Zoe was calm and patient and Bethan enjoyed the experience! Thank you so much!

Golby locks is a very nice and professional hair salon. The staff are lovely and the hospitality is good. I always leave there feeling happy with what CG has done with my hair. My son goes there and my daughter. Definitely recommend GolbyLocks.

I have been using the salon for about 8months now and have been pleased with the experience everytime. Danielle gives such detailed consults before each appointment which makes me feel comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere of the salon is really lovely, always welcoming and very clean.

I had my hair coloured and cut by Charlotte, and it was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had at a salon! She transformed my dark brown hair into the most beautiful, vibrant copper shade — it’s absolutely stunning and exactly what I was hoping for (if not better!). The colour looks so rich and glossy, and the cut frames my face perfectly. Charlotte is incredibly talented, professional, and genuinely cares about achieving the best result for her clients. Absolutely amazing experience with Phoebe today. She discussed my options with me at each stage and helped me decide which colour technique would work best for me. The salon has a lovely atmosphere and I felt very welcome. I am over the moon with my colour and am looking forward to rebooking my next appointment.

My hair hasn’t looked and felt so healthy and thicker. Danielle has been styling my hair for a few years now and it’s looking the best it’s ever been. Time, patience, high quality products and specialist skilled stylist that knows what is best to get superb results. The salon is friendly, welcoming and comfortable. Great coffee! Thank you and I would highly recommend.

Professional and welcoming. Danielle makes sure I am comfortable with the treatments and checking in to ensure I was happy with my decision. We spoke about what colour was right for me. I took my son to this salon and paid £25 for a child haircut, but the result was very disappointing. The cut was uneven and looked unprofessional, nothing like what we expected for normally looking haircut.My son was upset with the way it turned out, and I feel it was not worth the price. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this service.

Charlotte is my hairdresser, and she is amazing! Super skilled, kind and gives great hair advice! No one else has ever made my hair look or feel so good :) All the girls working at Golbylocks are so lovely too!
