Unfortunately I will be leaving a negative review for quite a few reasons.
1. Very unflattering pictures of me were uploaded on social media (instagram) twice without my consent, the second time was even AFTER I asked her not to do it again. No apologies were made, the post was just deleted.
2. I had threads put in by another practitioner and wanted lemon bottle (fat dissolving injections on my face) she said she asked/got advice from a senior nurse to see if it was safe to do so, however when I got complications (sever sensitivity and the fat looking strange when I smile) and I asked for the details of the senior nurse, she would not give them to me, which makes me unsure if she ever actually did check.
3. I was unsure if I wanted nose filler in my nose and was concerned about it looking more bulky so I stated out loud to her that I could just dissolve/reverse it if I didn’t like it. When I decided I didn’t like it a few days later and told her I received a long message from anique saying how it’s best not to dissolve filler in the nose as it can cause a lot of swelling for a long time and it’s best just to wait for it to naturally go (which takes years). Obviously this should have been information that was said before as it would have prevented me from getting it in the first place. It can also cause redness/flushing in your nose which would have been good to know too.
4. She uses a cheaper filler for the chin area and which is known for being more difficult to dissolve.
At the end of the day most practitioners are after your money however I think having a small business that’s just beginning can sometimes encourage that from happening for obvious reasons. My advice is to go to someone experienced (preferably a doctor) that should give you more informative, safer and professional experience, it’s always worth the extra money.
