My favourite treatment though is the IV bag of vitamins which Katie administers. Again, she is so gentle with this and the energy I get after and disappearing brain fog truly makes me feel like my human self again. It’s something I ensure I get every 2 months because it’s not something I can go without anymore that’s how good it is. Show less »

I recently visited Foxhie Piercing & Aesthetics after reaching out to them on Instagram for advice, and I cannot praise this business highly enough.

I have struggled with issues in my ears for years. My ears were pierced when I was just 3 months old, and over time the holes repeatedly closed up, leading me to re-pierce them myself several times, causing unnecessary pain and discomfort. Despite investing in high-quality costume jewellery, silver, and gold-plated pieces, my earlobes would swell within minutes of wearing any earrings.

When I contacted Katie for advice, she responded incredibly quickly—especially for a Saturday. I hadn’t booked an appointment, but she still took the time to help and immediately identified that I most likely had a nickel allergy. I work irregular shift patterns, which makes booking appointments difficult, and Katie was so kind and accommodating that she even offered to open the shop outside normal hours to suit me. She also kindly asked if I could come in that same day, which I was able to do.

The studio itself is absolutely beautiful—clean, stylish, full of character, and with an atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. I was seen very quickly, and the chair was freshly sanitised before I sat down.
Katie explained everything about nickel allergies and why certain types of jewellery, especially plated pieces, can trigger reactions. She recommended titanium as the safest option and was completely honest in saying that if even titanium caused a reaction, clip-on earrings might be the best solution.

Amy, the piercer, then examined my ears. She was able to taper my right lobe with ease, but my left ear needed a full re-pierce—which they offered to do straight away. I was shown a folder of stunning titanium earring sets, and it was such a treat to have so many beautiful options to choose from.
Throughout the entire process, Amy was incredibly reassuring. She walked me through each step, explained exactly what she was doing, and made sure I knew what to expect. All equipment used was brand new, and the piercing itself was quick, professional, and far less painful than I expected. Before I knew it, I had a gorgeous new set of titanium earrings in both ears.

I also mentioned that my husband wanted to buy gift vouchers for me after seeing an offer on their Instagram. Katie was more than happy to honour the promotion and allowed me to purchase vouchers to cover the service.

Amy explained all the aftercare clearly and provided a saline spray to help with healing. The service also includes a check-in and a follow-up appointment in 4–6 weeks to adjust the length of the bar. Katie has checked in with me since my visit and has been wonderfully patient and responsive whenever I’ve had questions.

I have never felt so welcomed in a business. The level of care, professionalism, and expertise at Foxhie is truly first-class. I am absolutely thrilled with my new earrings and so excited to return in a few months to add more beautiful pieces to my collection. Katie and Amy have genuinely made a long-held wish of mine come true.

After thorough research intending to find a reputable piercer, I booked for my daughter to have a nostril piercing with Katie. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and directed to a seating area. Once called, Katie was very attentive and began the appointment by allowing my daughter to pick her jewellery, advising her on the most compatible with her anatomy. After choosing her jewellery, Katie kindly offered my daughter a sensory toy as a distraction, explaining that it helps divert adrenaline and thus could make the piercing a less painful experience and made sure she was at ease throughout the whole appointment! Katie was really lovely and explained every single step from the preparation process to the actual piercing, emphasising the importance of aftercare. Despite thorough verbal instructions, we were given 2 cards that went into extensive detail about how to care for the piercing which covered every question you could possibly think of and stating if we needed further help we could contact them at any time. Furthermore, it is evident that cleanliness is paramount and the customer service was outstanding.
