Extremely disappointing experience with Elixir London Ltd (Sutton):
I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this clinic. I visited for a dissolving treatment to remove old facial filler, not for a new filler injection. I was told the results would become visible within two days. However, after three days, it became clear that the filler had not been adequately dissolved.
I contacted the practitioner to express my concerns and ask for a follow-up, but unfortunately, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Not only was there no willingness to assess the result or take responsibility, but I was also completely ignored — my final message was never even responded to.
This level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer care is unacceptable, especially in a field where people place trust in your hands for procedures that affect their face and confidence.
I was forced to seek help elsewhere and pay again to fix the issue properly. I would strongly caution others against visiting this clinic. Poor service, poor results, and absolutely no aftercare or accountability. Very disappointing.
[EDIT – Response from Business Owner:]
“Hi. Thanks for leaving your review. I’m so sorry you seemed to not have a pleasant experience at Elixir. As you can see from our reviews that are 5 stars, this is a first for us to receive a one star. The head practitioner has been on vacation and had only returned back to the salon on 28/06. I can ensure you all messages have been replied to. As explained on our appointment that you came to dissolve some suspected filler on the lower mouth region, that was not carried out by myself previously! Which I did explain to you that if after a few days of an elective dissolving session if it’s not changed then it’s unlikely filler. As I explained I believed it to be your DAO muscle that needed relaxing with anti-wrinkle injections but unfortunately you were certain it was filler so I went ahead and carried out the procedure for you. I see all my clients for follow-ups and if a client was to be unhappy with an outcome I always welcome clients back for a discussion and resolution. Unfortunately, on this case it seems you may have been trying to contact me when I was on my travels which has maybe left you to feel ignored and I’m very sorry about that. Please understand I do not receive calls or text when abroad. Please give me a call so we have a discussion and a better understanding.”
[My reply:] Thank you for your response. However, I must point out that, unfortunately, some of the statements you've made are not accurate and represent a distortion of what actually happened. At this stage, I no longer see value in debating the details further, as the matter is no longer of personal importance to me — but I do feel the need to clarify a few points for the benefit of other readers. After the procedure, I contacted you via text message and received only one reply, which said: “Hope you're well. I dissolved all area so very unlikely there will be anything remaining x” I responded immediately, clearly stating that the issue was still visibly present and requested a follow-up. No further replies were sent, and no effort was made to offer an in-person assessment or resolution. If you were abroad at the time, this was never communicated to me in advance and clearly, messages were both sent and received without issue. It’s disappointing that no real aftercare or support was provided following a dissolving procedure, which requires careful monitoring and evaluation. What I experienced felt dismissive and more focused on avoiding responsibility than genuinely addressing a client’s concern. As far as I’m concerned, both sides have now said what they needed to say, and I see no point in continuing this with further messages or repeated explanations. If it were possible, I wouldn't have even left a one star rating but unfortunately, there’s no lower option available.
