After spending years self treating a broken root canel & dealing with infection after infection because I was terrified of going back to the dentist, due to not having a good experience with my last practice, My husband stumbled across Dental Beauty in Addington.. He called and was greeted by such a welcoming and reassuring voice down the phone, explained my past experiences, my fear of dentists and my dental history. I was not only hoping to get my root canal fixed, but also undergo teeth straightening treatment as I wanted to have Invisalign. “Darcie” apologised for my past experience with my old dental practice and assured my husband that I was in safe hands, with “Ravi.”So I put my trust in those words, took the plunge & booked an appointment.
I remember Ravi checking over my mouth and no doubt was mortified with what he saw and how neglected it was. But he made no judgement and remained very supportive and professional. I was advised that I needed several fillings and two extractions, before he could even look into helping me straighten my teeth!! He was pleasant and polite and showed great empathy towards my past.. one tooth needed a specialist extraction,
(My root canal) due to how badly broken and neglected it was.. he sent me to see “Dr John” who again, was the kindest, most caring Dentist I’d come across in a while.. Once my treatment were done and my mouth had healed I was able to undergo the Invisalign programme..
I was taken care of from start to finish, yes the treatment was costly, However, A 0% interest free finance plan was put in place to allow me to pay it off so it became more affordable and didn’t dent my bank balance to much as payments were coming out monthly.
April 2025 was when my Invisalign journey officially started, (due to how wonky my teeth were I knew this was going to be a lengthy process and honestly didn’t believe Invisalign could ever straighten my teeth!!) I was given regular appointments and greeted with care each time by Ravi’s assistant along the way. I was very happy with the steady progress and could see slight improvements,
Just as I was coming to the end of my Invisalign treatment, where my teeth were looking perfectly straightened, I had notice that one of my front teeth were predominantly bigger than the rest, I looked awful and my confidence once again was dented.. I spoke with Ravi, who came up with a solution and suggested I had composite bonding at a reduced cost to help fill the gap.. he showed me virtual images of my mouth, and how my smile would look at the end of the bonding treatment, I was so impressed with the visual results that I agreed and in fact, ended up having 4 teeth done. The end result was astonishing!! It took me by surprise how well Ravi was able to work his magic and make my teeth look so good, even down to colour matching so there was literally no way of telling I had ever had any type of bonding to 4 of my front teeth!!!
The day I had the bonding and came home, My husband almost fell off his chair in surprise.. he couldn’t believe the workmanship and the brilliant job Ravi had done. My Invisalign journey had came to an end this December.. I cannot thank this practise enough for all their time, hard work, professionalism and dedication to their job and their patients!! Each individual member of staff that I had the pleasure of coming into contact with, went above and beyond to ensure that I had a perfect journey, I was treated fairly and to prove that you don’t need to be scared to go to the dentist.. This level of care didn’t just end with me, I witnessed this through out, whilst sitting in the waiting room, every single person that entered this practise had the same level of treatment. You are all amazing!!
