Severe Bruising and Poor technique
I recently had an IV Glutathione & Vitamin C drip at Create Your Beauty & Aesthetics medispa Clinic in Watford(both have the same address) administered by Colin. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing and concerning. The both clinics are owned by him.
After the IV drip, my arm was left with significant bruising and discomfort, indicating poor needle insertion or improper IV administration. A properly trained medical professional would have ensured a smooth procedure without causing this level of trauma to the vein.
Despite administering IV therapy, he is only an aesthetician, not a licensed medical professional (nurse or doctor). He would have mentioned it before, I got to know later. IV procedures should be done by trained nurses or doctors to ensure safety, proper technique, and vein health.
Initially, I was quoted £225 per session, then £187.50, and later pressured into buying a 5-session package at full price with a “free” session. The pricing structure felt manipulative and unclear.
The entire experience was unprofessional, with no proper aftercare advice given. IV therapy requires careful handling, and I felt uneasy throughout the process.
I would NOT recommend this clinic for IV therapy, especially if you are looking for safe, medically supervised treatments. If you are considering vitamin IV drips, I strongly advise choosing a clinic where the procedure is done by a qualified nurse or practitioner to ensure safety and proper administration.
