Colaz clinic in Harrow closed down with no prior notice…
Extremely disappointed in how they have handled the closure of the clinic and the booking of my outstanding laser hair removal treatment.
As per my booking confirmation, I turned up on 12th January 2025 at the clinic to find out that Ceylon Care Ltd/Former Colaz Clinic were now owning the premises.
After several phone calls and emails,I haven’t yet managed to either get a refund nor transfer my remaining credits to another clinic. Under their franchise policy, there is no option available.
I just wonder how ethical and fair this business practice is?! This must be reported further and therefore, I will ensure that my complaint soon reaches the appropriate authorities. Show less »

Extremely poor service. Like others have posted - I was not made aware in advance that Colaz would be trading under a different name. Have tried contacting Ceylon Care for a refund but no one responds to emails or phone calls. I’ve been advised that in order to use my packages I need to buy the exact same packages in a different branch - how does this make sense?! I’m entitled to a service that I’ve already purchased. If it can’t be honoured I should be refunded. The CEO of Colaz, Alaiyka Parvez needs to take responsibility for hundreds of customers that have been affected. To date the response Colaz has provided has been abysmal. I would strongly discourage customers from using Colaz services.

I spoke to the landlord of the premises in Rayners Lane who said that rent hadn’t been paid since beginning of year so shop definitely won’t be opening. I will be taking legal action on this Show less »

*** Disgraceful Service – Unfulfilled Treatments & No Accountability *** (Writing on 11/08/2025 after reaching my threshold)

Shame on Ceylon Care Ltd / Former CoLaz owners for the audacity shown towards loyal clients. After taking significant payments for treatment packages at your so-called "aesthetic clinic," you’ve demonstrated a complete lack of ethics and responsibility.

I purchased a package of 12 deep cleansing facials last year and paid the full amount for the 12 sessions, but have only received one session. I was told the clinic would temporarily close for renovations and reopen in March 2025, but I was never contacted. When I tried to reach CoLaz in April 2025, the number was disconnected. I called the Hayes branch and was informed that CoLaz had shut down and the owner had opened Ceylon Ayurveda. I was given an email to raise my concerns, which I did with proof of purchase, but received no response.

I’ve sent follow-up emails and made multiple calls. On two occasions, a man answered and hung up as soon as I began explaining my issue. This is unacceptable and unethical. Clients deserve transparency and respect, especially after paying for services that were never delivered.

I strongly urge others who have experienced similar treatment to escalate this matter to the Citizens Advice Consumer Service and the National Hair & Beauty Federation.

Avoid this clinic unless you want to be ignored after handing over your money. Show less »

Extremely Disappointed – No Communication After Sudden Closure

I’m very disappointed with colaz on Rayners Lane. They closed down without any prior notice, and I still have remaining laser treatment sessions that I paid for in advance. No one has contacted me to explain what’s going to happen—whether we’ll be refunded or offered the remaining sessions elsewhere. It’s completely unprofessional to leave loyal customers in the dark like this. I expected much better. Show less »

27th May: I am honestly appalled at the way this company has closed without any warning, and then renamed to Ceylon Ayurveda. I had a laser hair removal package which cost £850 and I had around 6 sessions remaining. I originally bought the package with Ealing Colaz which closed down in December 2023, again with little warning but they were professional enough to transfer my package to a different location so I chose Harrow. This is now the second time a Colaz branch has closed whilst I have ongoing sessions to complete. It's not something I checked into often because I was having the sessions spaced a few months apart because my hair re-growth was slow and that's what I had been advised.
I received no email or communication that Harrow Colaz had closed down and that this new Ayurvedic branch is opening. Their website does not state they offer laser hair removal. The way they have treated their customers is disrespectful, I am sure many other customers have £1000+ packages bought with Colaz and to just end it without notice is dire.

When I have called other Colaz branches they are apologetic but unable to do anything because 'it was a franchise, so we are not connected'. This also feels like a poor response - they are a franchise operating with your logo and your name. This is your brand and identity that has been injured - and the leader of Colaz should also have responsibility those who are representing their brand name.

Has anybody been able to get a refund or have their remaining sessions transferred to a different Colaz? What is the solution here?

10th July Update
Still no response from Ceylon or Colaz itself. This is a terrible image for Colaz. Unfortunately google reviews doesn't let us reply to each other reviews but I've read the recent ones and I feel their anger too. It's appalling Show less »
