I am a long time patient of Mr. Whitcombe. I have always found him to be extremely patient and accommodating. We changed to Castle Gate Dental post covid and definitely do not regret it.
The staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome. Appointments are always convenient and never late. I am very pleased with the service and my teeth have never felt better.

Best dental practice ever!
Lovely welcome by the receptionists, really friendly and reassuring. The examination and treatment is always kind and gentle, whichever dentist I’ve seen.
I highly recommend this practice, particularly if you’re nervous as I was before coming here.

Wonderful experience with Castle Gate and our family. Louise was incredibly kind and patient with our toddler who needed a review after knocking his teeth. Reception team are very warm and welcoming- would highly recommend.

I was extremely nervous about a tooth extraction, on the day all staff were understanding and helped to reassure me. Roxy carried out the procedure keeping me informed and calm the whole way, Sally was encouraging and comforting which meant the process was carried out in a controlled and friendly manner. I’ve been attending the surgery for about 2 years now since moving to the area and always appreciate the friendly atmosphere and kindness the staff show. All the Team at the Castle Gate Dental Practice were welcoming, friendly and professional. I was offerred lots of information regarding my treatment plan and paymet options, I also recieved follow up emails and appointment reminders.The environment was very clean and the waiting areas are comfortable. I would definitely recommend this dental practice.

The staff at Castle gate are all very friendly and accommodating. I hadn't been to the dentist for over a decade so needed a bit of work doing, but everything was explained well and carried out brilliantly. It is always easy to get a convenient appointment.

From the moment you walk through the door, the team on reception make you feel completely welcome. They’re friendly, professional, and always go above and beyond to make sure your appointments are convenient and regular. I’ve never once been kept waiting, which means so much when you’re squeezing an appointment into a busy workday!

Every dentist I’ve seen has been reassuring, gentle, and clearly an expert at what they do. Recently, I had some trouble with a wisdom tooth and called the practice hoping for a quick appointment. Incredibly, I was seen just two hours later. After a careful discussion, it was decided the best option was to remove the tooth and within five days, the procedure was done. Despite my nerves, I was looked after with the utmost care and compassion.

What really impressed me was the follow-up call the next day to check how I was feeling and to offer further advice if needed. That personal touch makes all the difference.

I honestly can’t praise Castle Gate Dental Practice highly enough. They’re professional, caring, efficient, and genuinely put their patients first. We’ve never looked back and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Show less »

Treatment room was also bright and airy and the appointment didn’t feel rushed at all. Definitely making the dentist a less daunting experience! Also very reasonable in terms of costs. In that time all staff from reception through to Dentists, dental nurses and hygienists have been friendly, professional and very efficient. The practice runs a dental plan that for a monthly fee cover's 6 monthly check ups and hygiene appointments approropriate to each patient.... Show more »

The practice runs a dental plan that for a monthly fee cover's 6 monthly check ups and hygiene appointments approropriate to each patient. This ensures a manageable approach to dental health. As an ex dental nurse it was important for me to find a practice with excellent standards, you will find these at Castle Gate practice, I would not hesitate to recomend to family and friends.
