For years I had used my reduced mobility as an excuse for not attending my Dentist due to climbing the staircase in an old building, at the same time becoming extremely anxious on contemplating any dental work. It got to a point towards the end of 2025 when I had a strong chat with myself and knew I must bite the bullet, so to speak. Therefore after investigating on line what other Dentists in Billericay could offer, I decided on Billericay Dental Care, having ground floor treatment rooms, and centrally placed with immediate access to Waitrose Car Park.

My initial appointment, carried out most sympathetically by Simren, brought to light three problems needing attention. One filling, one extraction, and one crown. The crown required two appointments, each one given with a running commentary on what was happening, which I really appreciated. A fiddly job, but I felt confident in what was being carried out and could not fault Simren's approach and genuine care for her patient.

Yesterday was extraction day. Amazingly I felt reasonably calm, probably knowing how well I had been treated in the past. Andrew did the honours this time and I am totally in awe of the treatment and care. This was nothing like I remember from having previous extractions years ago. The anaesthetic having kicked in, the extraction took absolutely no time at all. No subsequent pain or bleeding, just first class brilliant treatment.

Just a filling to be dealt with at some future date.

My overall thoughts are that Billericay Dental Care is an absolute must for those who are looking for the best, as I have found them to be in all respects. Go on, don't prevaricate any longer. Take that first step. You will not be disappointed. Show less »

The practice was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The dentist (Alexander) was kind, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped put me at ease. This place is suitable if you do not have any other dentists to go to. They cancel appointments last minute and patients have to tolerate that. However , if you are late for 10 minutes due to issues that you can not control such as public transport, they talk about policies, no flexibility at all . This place does not have any respect for working patients, they probably believe patients are not working so they can change the appointments anytime as they wish easily without been flexible when the patients have face uncontrollable issues. I cannot recommend this dental surgery more. I am a very nervous patient and I have only ever received exceptional customer service from this practice. I visited today needing an emergency procedure, which filled me with dread, but have left feeling 100% happy and satisfied with the outcome and the process itself. I am a very nervous patient and I have only ever received exceptional customer service from this practice.

I visited today needing an emergency procedure, which filled me with dread, but have left feeling 100% happy and satisfied with the outcome and the process itself. From the reassuring phonecall this morning with the reception staff, to meeting a new dentist Emma (as my normal dentist Gaya was fully booked for the day) being gentle and patient, to leaving having a full and expert repair to my front tooth - I am just so very grateful for their service, care and compassion.

I recently had a rear tooth removed (right next to my wisdom tooth) at Billericay Dental Care after developing an abscess, and I honestly can’t thank the team enough. It was a tough procedure — there were lots of injections, and despite the best efforts of the dentist, the numbing only managed to take away about 80% of the pain. It wasn’t an easy experience, and I almost gave up partway through, but the dentist and nurse were incredibly patient, reassuring, and determined to get me through it safely.

In the end, we managed to get the tooth out successfully, which meant I could finally avoid another round of antibiotics and start healing properly. I really appreciated the care, professionalism, and genuine compassion shown throughout what was a difficult appointment.

If you’re nervous about dental work or facing something complicated, I’d highly recommend Billericay Dental Care — they truly do their best for their patients, even in the most challenging situations. Show less »

Constantly upselling you treatments you don't need and spamming you with marketing. Unfortunately seems to have fallen apart even further with the recent facelift of the place, which I will say is very attractive and clean compared to the old decor. Unfortunately seems to have fallen apart even further with the recent facelift of the place, which I will say is very attractive and clean compared to the old decor. Waiting to be seen on the day can still take over an hour at times which I would have hoped would be better by now. NHS availability is next to none despite having advertised availability on their site (this has since been changed but left a thorn in my side).

Rest assured if you want to attend, in my opinion, a dentist where profit margins are #1 instead of patient care, and where conflicts of interest are rife. Show less »

I had a wonderful experience at Billericay Dental Care with Bita, the dental hygienist. From start to finish, she was incredibly explanatory, taking the time to talk me through everything she was doing step by step. She was so caring and gentle throughout the treatment, which made me feel completely at ease. I really appreciated the clear instructions she gave, along with the helpful aftercare advice to follow at home.

The visit was made even better by the lovely Leah, who was so welcoming and greeted me with a big smile. She created such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere the moment I walked in.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the care I received – professional, kind, and attentive from start to finish. Highly recommend! Show less »
