Made appointement for my daughter on 5/Feb/2025 with Dr. Ruby Dhiman because was having an infection on milk tooth and start plan for dental care as now she`s 8 and she can understad and handle better dental care related fears.
Been given antibiotics(2 bottles of lower dosage as it was what they were having in stock,could do prescription and getting it from any farmacy the right one) and made new appointment for 7/Feb/2025 for the fisrt part of treatment plan made on first appointement.
Asked to have referal provided ASAP as wanted to go through NHS dental care as is free for children . Beent told that she will do it next day.
It looks like I have been missunderstod , like I can`t afford treatment or I don`t want.
On 7/Feb(Friday) came back for appointement and let her know that there have made mistakes which lead school doctor refusing to give my daughter prescription as on paper prescription with her name on is different antibiotic and on the bottle doesn`t have the name written...
On previous appointement been asked abut alergies and my answer was that not as far as I am aware but specified that she never had any anestetic yet, but even told them that I am assuming that she will get an under skin trial .
That didn`t happened (got frozen because my main concern was to make my daughter confortable for treatement)!!!
She became very anxious as her lips felt "big" and asked for mirror few times.
After extraction and a cople of scans also been told that Dr. Ruby Dhiman will report as my daughter is neglected and she will not charge us for full amount ...and told her if she have loked to my daughter chart could see that was already paid in advance first part of the treatment plan Show less »

Today 6/10/2023 I visited Amsel & Wilkins Dental practice in Banbury. As usual I was greeted warmly and addressed by name by the reception staff. Promptly after my arrival I was invited to the dental treatment room. Today my dentist Piers Neville finished the dental work of all my upper teeth. It included number of crowns and veneers to my front teeth. I could not believe these lovely teeth were mine! So white, beautiful, just perfect! Now I am so very happy, and I smile with great confidence.
Piers is my favourite dentist. He is such a good professional and person. As well as being a great professional, Piers is also highly efficient dentist and I always feel at ease with him.
I highly recommend Piers Neville if you need high quality teeth work!

Apologies for the long story, but it's a worthwhile read..

At 9AM on Sunday 13th March I was due to jump in the car and drive down the M40 to get married after a 2 year COVID induced delay. At 4AM that morning a loud crack at my mouth woke me up, and to my horror I realised my bridge had fallen out and I now had a tooth sized gap in my smile.

At 7AM, after 3 rather stressful hours I called the emergency number on Amsel & Wilkins' answering machine which was immediately answered by Nigel. After explaining my emergency, Nigel told me to meet him at 8AM and he'd fix me right up.

Nigel opened up the practice just for me, on a Sunday morning, and by 8.45AM I was walking back up Banbury High Street relaxed and stress-free (well as stress-free as you can be before your wedding) with all my teeth in my mouth - rather than in my pocket..

By 4.30PM I was tucking into pork belly and crackling like nothing had happened.

A huge thank you to Nigel from me and my new wife for saving my smile on our wedding day, as well as from our photographer who you saved from many, many hours of photoshop. Finally, my bestwoman thanks you for the additional story for her speech, one that received plenty of gasps and laughter.
