I used to have a great impression of AI Beauty Clinic and always left five-star reviews after each visit. Because of this, I had no hesitation in purchasing two long-term treatment packages. However, my experience today was quite disappointing.
I had requested a 1 PM appointment two days in advance and arrived punctually at 12:50 PM. Despite this, I was left waiting for 40 minutes before being taken to a room, and the treatment did not actually begin until 1:40 PM.
The receptionist who spoke Chinese had a poor attitude, which made the experience even more frustrating. Additionally, just one hour before my appointment, I received a message via social media asking if I could change my booking. However, since I was already on the subway with no signal, I didn’t see it in time. (For reference, I had already confirmed my appointment time the night before, and the clinic has a strict late policy where customers arriving 30 minutes late will have their bookings canceled.)
Yet, despite my punctuality, and without my consent or response, they chose to delay a long-term, prepaid customer with six remaining sessions for nearly 50 minutes.
To be fair, the clinic did give me a complimentary face mask as a goodwill gesture when I left, which I appreciate. Because of this, I am adjusting my review to four stars.
I hope this was just an isolated incident, and I sincerely hope that the appointment management system can be improved so that customers won’t have to experience such long delays in the future.
