Pauline Sprengers- Smit (1979) heeft Gezondheidswetenschappen (Universiteit Maastricht) en Geneeskunde (Universiteit Utrecht) gestudeerd. In 2006 is zij gepromoveerd op het proefschrift “Factors Determining Glucocorticoid Sensitivity in Man” aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam.
In 2010 startte zij met de specialisatie tot dermatoloog aan het Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, welke in 2016 is afgerond. Als één van de eersten in Nederland heeft zij de academische cosmetische dermatologie opleiding “Erasmus MC Aesthetics” gevolgd bij dr. Peter Velthuis.
Momenteel is ze werkzaam bij ‘Bey by Bergman Clinics’ in Den Haag. Ze is tevens actief lid van de domeingroep Cosmetische Dermatologie binnen de Nederlandse Vereniging van Dermatologie en Venereologie (NVDV).
